Our adventure started in 2011 with a boutique men's clothing store in Kucukpark, one of the most lively areas of Bornova, one of the distinguished districts of Izmir. At that time, the spread of social media platforms in our country activated our sales and marketing impulses, and when we made our first sale on Facebook, we thought that these sales would be enough to cover our store rent and personnel expenses. Then, the arrival of the direct message feature on Instagram activated our impulses again and we started taking photos of the products we had and sharing them. Since our knowledge and experience about e-commerce has developed through the method of learning by experience, we contacted people who appeal to large masses, now known as influencers, and whose names were phenomena at that time, and had them promote our products and pages. Although things suddenly went beyond our expectations, we felt in our bones that our main business would be e-commerce. But there was a problem, customers' questions about how to be sure that the product in the photo will arrive sparked an idea in our minds, and we completely eliminated this problem with the slogan "Transparent Cargo at the Door, See First, Pay Later". Maybe 50-60 people could come to a store in a day, but our Instagram accounts, which we see as a digital store, could reach millions. We have accomplished good things over the years and supported our staff in establishing their own businesses and we have turned into a kind of e-commerce workshop. Years passed, and with the coronavirus epidemic and the beginning of the pandemic period that will change world history, and the uncertainty of what will happen, with the explosion in the e-commerce sector, we decided to break our own shell once again as a vision and mission and sell in the marketplaces. The competition was at very high levels, this job was not similar to what we were doing, we had to do things differently, so we put our own personnel into the field of textile production and learned the processes of fabric, production, quality and making the product ready for sale in a short time. Currently, we touch the lives of more than 500 people with our production facility built on an area of 2500 square meters, 4 main warehouses and dozens of suppliers. This adventure has not yet put an end to our urge to sell, we are now in a tight preparation, using all the means at our disposal, to take part in the world market, even if we are a drop in the ocean. Who are we? We are Black Sokak Tekstil Family and we are a business that grows with its own means and will open to the world from Izmir.
